If you’ve been acting out of character recently then you should confide in someone close as to the reason why. Some people are worried about you but are afraid to approach you so let the rumour mill spread the word for you. A senior colleague is acting high and might but remember that respect is earned through actions and words, not through fear. They will get their marching order sooner than you think.

This week will see you connecting with old and new friends and it will be something you’ve needed for some time. It’s fine to deal with things alone however, no man is an island, and we all need support from time to time. At work, the pressure is mounting but make sure you don’t agree to take on more than you are able and if you do, make sure you are paid accordingly.

Close friendships will stand the test of time after a rather sticky period. Don’t worry too much, it will all get resolved amicably with no hard feelings. Take the initiative with your partner and let them know where you want your relationship to go. Even if it is early days, it’s always best to find out what the other person wants so that you don’t waste time with the wrong match.

As the year closes you may find yourself looking back on things that haven’t gone your way. That’s fine but make it brief and don’t linger on what ifs. A brand-new year is ahead of you and it’s yours for the taking. Make plans early in the year to ensure the second half is one to remember. A trip of a lifetime beckons as does a new love interest that will turn your world upside down.

You will find freedom in doing your own thing, Cancer. Of course, don’t shut yourself away but know that it is perfectly possible to be happy beating to the tune of your own drum. Doing things to please others is a recipe for unfulfilment so don’t put your own needs on the backburner this festive period. Take time out when you need it and enjoy the occasional social outing when it suits.

A health reboot is required and instead of thinking of all of the things you will be denying yourself, think of all of the good things that you can introduce instead. Make exercise fun by dragging a friend along, try out new sports until you find one that feels like something you would enjoy long term. The end of the week will bring closure on a matter close to your heart.

You will be expected to step up to the plate at work much to your annoyance. However, this will put a spotlight on your abilities and achievements which will stand you in good stead when a promotion becomes available. An intimate connection will leave you feeling breathless and will have you doubting if you’ve ever truly been in love before.

You need to find the nerve to have a heart to heart with a loved one. If you pick your moment carefully it will be productive and bring a sense of calm to you both. It will also bring a sense of connection that has been missing. A promising conversation at work will be had that will leave you on cloud nine.

Your thoughts and feelings are just as important as anyone else’s so don’t let a certain someone tell you otherwise. If you are tempted to play mind games with a new love interest then be mindful it may not turn out well. Being your true authentic self will bring you the love and commitment that you so desire, games aren’t necessary.

You may feel like plotting an escape but the reality is a good weekend away is probably all that you need. Make time for yourself outside of work and family obligations so that you don’t feel so overwhelmed much of the time. If you are feeling artistic, share your ideas with others of the same ilk and watch the encouragement flow and grow.
