You will have to sort out a pet at the last minute if you are not organised. The creative people could well sell something that they have created if they jump at the right opportunity. A child will pester you for a while to have a pet; you will hold out, but you will feel yourself weakening under the pressure. Maybe it would help if you realized that you would be the one looking after it after the novelty has worn off!!
